I usually don’t like books about sailing or other forms of adventure but The Voyage of Patience Goodspeed was an exception. I loved how instead of the book being about a boy’s journey it was about a girl and her travels across seas with only men. A must read!!!:)

Like I said, I don’t like books about the sea but Gifts form the Sea was a really good one. It’s about a girl who lives in a lighthouse with her family and the sea always delivers gifts to her from people throwing stuff out of the boat or a shipwreck. Another great read!!! :)
